Higher Self Connection Jan. 11, 2022
Yesterday I was guided not to receive my daily connection post. This didn’t go over well with my human self. I am very OCD when it comes to something I commit to, especially when I make that commitment publicly to y’all. I dug a little deeper and I was guided to be present in my day, that part of the lesson in receiving and connecting is just being in the now and observing. WOW… that was beautiful. So my human was a bit anxious, but pushed forward and honored that message.
This morning as I connected with my higher self I received this message. It ties into the feelings I was having yesterday and perfectly describes my ‘old self’. I could never sit still. I had to be busy all the time. I got to the point where I never had times for friends and family. It was all a way for me to not have to stop and be still and look at myself.
I now revel in my open spaces, in fact, I deeply honor them and embrace them like a dear friend.
Take what resonates, leave the rest behind.

Balance is an over arching lesson for many humans.
Balance is not found in the chaos that is created when we overfill our schedules. When we feel driven to overload our day, we need to examine if we are unconsciously bypassing a deeper issue that is needing to be addressed.
Many times humans would rather avoid painful trauma. Trauma can become a familiar passenger, the need to cling on to the trauma can feel like a big part of a person’s identity. Other times we feel it is easier to ignore shortcomings and issues, however they tend to grow when left unaddressed.
When your schedule is too busy and your human self is unable to enjoy, breathe and be spontaneous, stop and ask yourself how you got to that point, am I avoiding a trauma or issue? You may be surprised at what you learn.
