True freedom lies away

from the flock and

within the understanding that you are

here to transmute yourself,

and only yourself.

To dig deep,

reaching into the depths

of your own abyss,

fighting your darkness

and healing lifetimes of wounds

until you can finally stand

lighter,

unencumbered by the weight

of the world.

Because you know

a soul that is no longer

burdened by demons of trauma

is a soul the can consciously live without the the need of a flock,

and stand tall in their true sovereignty.
